For Sale: $15,000 OBO
DFW, Roanoke: 214-837-3253 I bought this 1967 Chevelle 2 door coupe three years ago. It has a clean title. It was purchased new, by a school teacher, in Brownwood, Texas. The car was then parked in Brownwood for over 25 years due to a dispute over an auto repair. I can’t prove it, but given the general condition of the car when I bought it, and how it ran, I would say the 56,000 on the odometer are original. The original AC works well and doesn't leak. In three years, I haven't needed to charge it. The original AM radio works, the clock and all gauges work. I haven’t had to do any major body works due to accidents. There were a few dime sizes pings and dents. But no major body damage. The body work I have done was due to rust. I replaced the trunk panels and a small area of the lower panel on the drivers rear side. There was very little rust on the car. The sun damaged the head rest area of the seats. Other than that, the seats were like new. I replaced the seat covers, head liner, and door panels due to age, not looks. It has a 283 V8 with automatic transmission and the original AC still works. I put a new radiator in the car, shocks, tires, and brakes, I also replaced and overhauled the front end when I removed the engine to clean it up. The only engine work I had to do was to replace the valve guide seals. It still has the original tire tool. The car runs great. It is an original. I haven’t cloned into a SS. I think it would be a mistake. But that is for the next owner to decide. $15,000 OBO
